From personal scandals to business malpractice, the list of reputation risk failure are staggering. What is Reputation, and why should you protect it all cost? During 2012 I spoke at the 15th Southern African Internal Audit Conference “Prepared for New Frontiers” where this presentation “Reputational Risk, Years to Build Up and Nano- Seconds to Destroy” – drew an audience of more than 600 delegates and invoked a huge response. This presentation is ideal for sensitizing executives and management about Reputation being a company’s most important asset and yet, most volatile and dangerous risk.

Stakeholder Reputation – How to Build Relationships with a Dyamic Web of Stakeholders
An institution derives its reputation from the way it is perceived by its various stakeholders. These perceptions are influenced by the performance, behavior and ethical decision-making in the institution. This presentation examines the interface and importance of stakeholder relationships, engagement and communication.
During 2012 there were a number of examples in the Southern African environment of stakeholder management gone wrong such as the SANRAL E-tolling delays and the Marikana Mining Labor Relations incident which unfortunately resulted in a number of deaths. This presentation is an extract of the 2- day training seminar that I facilitate on the topic.
